For the Love of Kids 2006 Practical Parenting Conference

Volunteer Information

The following volunteer opportunties are available with For the Love of Kids:

GIFT BAG ASSEMBLY DAY: 
Saturday, October 14, 2006,
9 am - 1 pm (Pizza lunch included)
Event Location:  Beech Acres Parenting Center, 6881 Beechmont Avenue
Work in small groups assembling packets or in large groups (assembly line process) stuffing samples and donated products into tote bags to be given away to attendees at conference.  Great for service hours required for school clubs, youth groups, sororities, etc. 
Must be at least 12 years of age to volunteer at this event.   

CONFERENCE DAY: 
Saturday, October 21, 2006
Morning Conference:  9 am  - 1 pm
Afternoon Conference:  1 pm - 5 pm
Full Day Conference:  9 am - 5 pm (Includes lunch)
Event Location:  The Cincinnati Convention Center (Duke Energy Center)
Many community volunteers are needed to help make this day a success and a wonderful experience for parents.  Volunteer positions include Room Monitors, Hall Monitors, Greeters, Registration Check-In, On-Site Registration, and more. Volunteers working a 5 hour shift may attend the opposite conference at no cost.  (Lunch included for full-day volunteers only.)
Must be at least 18 years of age to volunteer at this event.
