WORKSHOP TITLE: Bully-Proofing Your Child: Practical techniques to prevent and eliminate bullying

WORKSHOP OVERVIEW: Parents will learn step-by-step body language and response techniques that will eliminate bullying and/or prevent their child from ever being targeted.  Kids who bully are like stray dogs; they continue to visit the houses that feed them.  Learn what reactions bullies feed off of, and learn practical techniques to teach a child to respond in a way that eliminates bullying.  At the end of this training, parents will know how to help their child starve bullying behavior.  
 
Jim Bisenius has 11 years of experience as a child and adolescent therapist specializing in teaching targeted youth how to handle bullying. Bisenius has trained over 300,000 elementary and middle school students all over the region with his bully-proofing techniques. He received the Violence Prevention Award from the Licking County Mental Health Association for his bullying prevention work with youth.
