Medical Somatic and Psychiatric Services

Psychiatric assessment and medication management provided for children who are actively receiving Beech Acres Parenting Center Services. Children who participate in this service are dealing with emotional and/or behavioral problems. 

To add value to Beech Acres Parenting Center mental health services, we offer the services of a board-certified child/adolescent psychiatrist who can provide recommendations regarding a working diagnosis and any medications which may be helpful to your child.

These services occur in collaboration with the child, his/her parent or caregiver and any other professionals working with him or her.

Access to the psychiatrist is available at either of the Beech Acres Parenting Center sites. Services are provided based on client need, and appointments vary to meet the needs of the family with weekend and evening availability.

Children served in this program are within the ages of 4-18 and meet the following admission criteria:

• The child/adolescent is actively involved in a mental health service with the Beech Acres Parenting Center.
• The child or adolescent is diagnosed with a mental health disorder and presents symptoms that could be improved with the use of medications.

The child or adolescent has behaviors/emotional issues that interfere with his or her social, family, vocational, educational, and/or psychological/psychiatric functioning, and it appears that psychiatric consultation would benefit the child

Here at Beech Acres Parenting Center, we are committed to helping families get the help they need. We work with each client and their unique payment needs to cover the cost of services.
