Community Support Services

Case management specialists coordinate services that help at-risk children and their families navigate school and community systems to access support resources to help them be successful.

This mental health service is also referred to as CPST (Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment) or Case Management.

Mental health symptoms are monitored, and behavior management techniques are utilized so that the following skills are developed: socialization, anger management, coping and independent living.

CPST providers coordinate care with families, schools and any other providers involved. They also serve as advocates, and connect a child and his/her family to natural community resources. This flexible service is specifically tailored to meet individual needs.

CPST services are office and community based. Session times vary to meet the needs of the family, with evening and some weekend availability.

Children served must meet the following admission criteria:

• Evidenced symptoms must significantly interfere with social, family, vocational, educational and/or psychological/psychiatric functioning.
• Family must need assistance in navigating systems of care, accessing service connections/and or maintaining or following through with service providers

Here at Beech Acres Parenting Center, we are committed to helping families get the help they need. We work with each client and their unique payment needs to cover the cost of services.
