WORKSHOP TITLE: CET’S Taming the Tube: Making the most of your child’s TV TimeWORKSHOP OVERVIEW: In addition to discussing how to view television critically, parents will take part in activities that demonstrate the role of television in helping children learn. Participants will learn to use the “Learning Triangle”—a teaching and learning method where the active viewing of educational programs is linked with storybook reading and sensory learning activities. This workshop is designed for parents with children from birth to age 8. Participants will receive several free books as well as activity ideas and media related resources. Session is limited to 25 participants on a first come basis.
